On the morning of February 12, 1923 a prince was born to late Israel and Elvira Nealy of the Bluff Eleuthera, they named their newborn prince, Arthur Joseph Nealy. At the tender age of twelve Arthur traveled to Nassau to take up residence with his aunt now deceased. Being well trained by his mother whom he loved dearly he shared his story of how she trained him and disciplined him to become self- reliant. This training did not go in vain.

At an early age Arthur become one of Nassau’s Supreme Tailors making the finest tailor made suits, pants, coats, jackets and hats. Even to this day, the same sewing machine after so many decades is still working. A well traveled man he spent a few years in New York City and other parts of the United States working at some of the finest restaurants and hotels before moving back to Nassau where he worked at Emerald Beach and Flagler Inn Hotel where he serviced as Captain in the Main Dinning Room.

Coming into contact with so many famous celebrities locally and internationally in the hotel and restaurant industries Arthur become an eloquent well groomed young man. This life style of eloquence was one he portrayed throughout his life, even in the midst of his illness it was hard to determine that he was ill by simply looking at him, his face always looked flourishing and full of life.

On Thursday August 2, 2012 he was taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital and was admitted to Male Medical II, and on Sunday 5, August 2012 he quietly slipped away from time into eternity.
