I came to know Anita Ramsey in December 1987 during my employment at Bank of Montreal, Bay & East Street Branch. The Bank which later transitioned to The Bank of The Bahamas Limited. I served as her secretary in the Loans Administration Department until she left to join another institution.

Nita, as we would call her was the ultimate professional. Not only in her poise and beauty but she was a committed and a dedicated employee, who commanded respect from all. She inspired me in many ways one of the most notable one today would be that I too years later became a credit officer. Nita was a beautiful person who appeared always to not engage in frivolous conversations but rather spoke truth. Nita appearance was second to none, and she enjoyed the finer things in life. She knew what she wanted and always reached for the stars.

As the years past we continue to maintain a cordial relationship. I was saddened when I learnt about her passing. May her soul RIP, and may her family find comfort during this difficult time.
