Dr. John Ellerton Carter aged 76 years, of Galley Road, Coral Heights East and formerly of Barbados, died on Sunday 16th March, 2025.
He is survived by his wife: Dr. Rhonda Janice Carter; daughters: NyAshia Carter, Rochelle Carter-Petty and Andrea Hall; sons: John André Carter and Macaire DeFreitas; mother: Ianthe (Browne) Carter Knight; brother: Orlie Carter; numerous grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.

Dr. Rhonda we thank you for allowing us to share in the life of a truly gracious, blessed, loyal Christ centered gentleman. One who answered every call, one who would show up at any time needed. One who distance made no difference, he wrote prescriptions and made referrals while out of town. He was a “One of a kind” “Irreplaceable” child of God. His work will continue in the earth made new. Sleep on my friend and brother.
