Funeral Service for the late Emily Elizabeth Burnside, aged 92 of Cockburn Street, Fox Hill will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday 24th July 2026 at Ebenezer Methodist Church, East Shirley Street. Officiating will be Rev. Elvado Turnquest assisted by Deacon Althea Carey and Rev. Emily Demeritte. Interment will follow in Coke Methodist Church Cemetery, Bernard Road, Fox Hill.
Emily Burnside was predeceased by her parents: Rev George Burnside Sr. and Gertrude Burnside (nee Cockburn); her brothers Oliver George Burnside (Arabella), George Nathaniel Burnside (Vernice), Charles Livingston Burnside (Enid), David Leroy Burnside, her sisters: Euturpee Nesbitt (Reuben), Edith Rolle (Malachi) and her oldest child and son, Cyril Nathaniel Burnside Sr.
