  3. I’ve know Billy since his days with Eddie Kendricks, I considered him to be a good friend. We would communicate often and meet up when every the Tempts were in town or close to the DC area, I never missed a Tempts show. He will be greatly missed, I remember him as a great guy who would do what he could for people in a gracious manner. Prayers and condolences go out to his family, friends and the Tempts & Tops organizations who knew him well. Rest in Peace my friend 🙁

  4. I’ve known Billy (he was always Everette to me) for close to 17 years. We first met when I was working in Nassau and became friends almost immediately. We would talk about music, different artists, things in general and especially the Temptations. He knew I was a long time Tempts fan. He even surprised me once with a large picture which they autographed. Even got my wife and I a picture taken backstage with Otis and Ron. He would always say that when he retires from the group, he may write a book about all of his travels with the guys. We would communicate frequently about different things and would exchange well wishes to our families. He never failed to call me when they came to town and always got my wife and I great seats with backstage passes and sometimes we’d hang out after the show for a drink. During one of his last conversations with me he said that we should get together the next time they’re in town. That was about a month before his passing. He was good friend. Always had a funny story about the business. A super guy and he will be definitely missed. My wife and I extend our deepest condolences to his family.
