Words cannot began to express my feelings. May you have comfort snd strength in knowing that “Billy” was loved. He & my beloved husband (late, George “Tree” Rountree (MD,Arranger, Keyboardist of 4 Top and also he worked with Billy on some projects… served many years together on the road with T&T. I am grateful that this pass January, I was able to laugh with Billy & recall some of the 40 yr span they had and more importantly tell my “big brother” I love him. Now I will always cherish that moment. His smile and OG spirit was always the same and will be missed for sure. My prayers are forever with you all. Feel free to email me whenever… I understand first hand. Gone from this life but always in our hearts.
To the Bannister family, you have my deepest sympathy. My dear friend Billy, you will truly be missed. You touched my heart. ❤️❤️

May God bless the memory of the wonderful Billy Bannister, an amazing made who made a difference in this world. I was blessed to see him in Nashville the evening of February 20th and to take what was probably the last photograph of him backstage at the Ryman. This photo will serve to remind me, not only of Billy but of just how precious life can be.
