Funeral Service for the late James Allen Roker aged 87 years of Rosalind Street, Chippingham will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday 5th January, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Boyd Road. Officiating will be Monsignor Alfred C. Culmer assisted by other members of the clergy. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Church Cemetery, Boyd Road.

He is survived by his Daughters: Lisa Roker and Monique Roker-Smith; Son: Dana Roker and their mother, Peggy Roker; Son-in-law: Attorney Keod Smith (former Member of Parliament);  Granddaughters: Taneka Thompson, Ronisha Deveaux, Martine Laing, Makeda Smith and Arianne Roker; Grandsons: Delanno Roker and Zadok Smith; Great granddaughters: Zoe Cartwright and Miracle Young;  Sisters: Dorothea Dugoua of Canada and Teresa Bandelier;  Brother: William(Bill) Roker;  Cousin: Peter Roker;  Sisters-in-law: Elsa (Lassie) Mackenzie,Ruth and Patty Roker;  Brother-in-law: Noel Thompson Sr;  Nieces: Gina Bandelier, Sophee Roker, Woman Marine Ashanti Roker, Brenda Wilson of Atlanta USA, Netta Edwards of Fort Lauderdale USA and Attorney Tammie Knowles, Chazelle Johnson, Anna-Marie and Rose-Marie James;  Nephews: Bishop Anthony Roker, Robert Sands, Jason Roker of Freeport Grand Bahama, Bernard and Werner Bandelier, Noel Thompson Jr, Dr. John (Jackques) Dugoua of Canada, Senior Lieutenant Themo Berkley, Mark, Tommy, Monty, Tasso, Chevaughann, Angelo and Scott Roker, Police Inspector John Roker and Retired Petty OfficerShayne Roker;  Nieces-in-law: Katrina Burrows,Neresa Bandelier, Shauna, Torry and D’Andrea Roker;  Grandnieces: Nyah, Bernae and Brianna Bandelier; Tomeisha, Tommell, Jade, Teja, Jayda, Kenjenice, and Nia-London Roker, Corell Sands, Kystle Bramboski of Orlando USA and Christine Johnson of New York USA and Dr. Alexis Roker-Rolle;  Grandnephews: Petty OfficerChristopher Bandelier, Able Mechanic Vontez Bandelier, Naaman, and Nathan Bandelier, Brian Jr. and Ryan Sands, Steven Burrows, Jaden, Briohn and Brandon Roker, Gino Bastian of Orlando USA;  Great grandniece: Kylan Bandelier;  Great grandnephews: Vontez Bandelier Jr. andGiovanni Bastian of Orlando USA;  Close Friend: Wendy Russell and a Host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians & Crematorium, #44a Nassau Street on Thursday (TODAY) 4th January, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday 5th January, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
