Funeral Service for the late Janet Eleanor Major, aged 67 years, of Wind Cool Avenue, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday July 15th, 2021, at Christ Community Church, Bellot Road. Officiating will be Bishop Deanza Cunningham assisted by other members of the Clergy. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum, JFK Drive and Gladstone Road.

Aged 67 years

Funeral Service for the late Janet Eleanor Major, aged 67 years, of Wind Cool Avenue, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday July 15th, 2021, at Christ Community Church, Bellot Road. Officiating will be Bishop Deanza Cunningham assisted by other members of the Clergy.  Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum, JFK Drive and Gladstone Road. 

Due to current Government regulations in respect of Covid-19, masks and social distancing are required.  Graveside attendance is limited to forty (40) persons.

Precious memories of Janet will live on in the hearts and minds of her beloved family and friends.  She is survived by Two Sons: Nicholo and Romeo Cartwright; One Daughter-in-law: Edris Cartwright; One Uncle: Bernard Davis of Freeport, Grand Bahama; Two Brothers: Mario Roker (Shiela) of North Carolina, and Miguel Roker; Two Sisters: Angelique McDowall (Timothy) and Rochelle Davis (Spencer) of North Carolina; Four Grand Daughters: Nicole Mitchell (Cordero), Robyn, Savannah, and Anaya Cartwright; One Great Grandson: Caelan Mtchell; One Niece: Mia Bowe (Noemi, Asher and Micah Bowe); Four Nephews: Jordan Pinder (Gabriel, Jase, and Elijah Pinder) Ashton McDowall, Michael Roker (Kaden, Matthias, and Ariah) and Alex Roker (Ayva and Daniel); Cousins: Bernard and Margaret Kemp, Elaine and George Kemp; Terry Culmer-Killens (Will, Theresa, and Joy) of Philadelphia, P.A., Lisa Davis of Freeport, Grand Bahama., Dr. Austin and Villana Davis, Shenique, Shannon, Vernell and Austin (A.J.) Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians & Crematorium, #44 Nassau Street, on Wednesday July 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and at the Church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
