Funeral Service for the late Julia “Sally” Isabelle Grist 82 years of Imperial Park, Sea Breeze, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday May 11th, 2024 at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, East Shirley Street.  Officiating will be The Rt. Rev’d. Laish Boyd, The Rev’d. Cannon Basil Tynes and The Rev’d. Fr. Scott Jupp assisted by other members of the clergy.  Interment will follow in the Eastern Cemetery, Dowedswell Street.

Aged 82 years

Sally Grist was preceded in death by her parents: George & Sally Basden of East Shirley Street, Her husband, the late Rev. Canon Dr. Peter A. Grist, Her sisters: Lulu Hart, Iris Brennen and Beverly Basden, Her brothers: Earl, Ernest (Dukie), Windsor and Audley.

She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her Son: Peter William Grist; Daughter: Dr. Mary Grist-Agubosim, MD; Grandsons: John Agubosim and Joshua Lightbourne; Granddaughter: Alexandria Grist; Sister: Natalie Tuddles; Son–in-law: Dr. Samuel Agubosim, MD; Sisters-in –law: Majorie Basden, Gloria Basden, Gloria, Marion and Lorraine Bethell, Jackie Carey and Evangeline Minnis; Brothers-in-law: Samuel Brennen Sr., Philip Bethell, and Roland Tuddles; Numerous nephews: Kenneth “Candy” Hart & Family, Troy Basden, Samuel Brennen Jr, Edison Basden, Winston Basden, David Basden, Sean Brennen Sr, Fr. Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians & Crematorium, #44a Nassau Street on Friday 10th May, 2024 from 12:00 noon. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday 11th May, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
