🙏 Prayers and condolences on the passing of Keenya. I pray God’s comfort upon you all – from Mrs. Indira Burrows-Rolle, class of 1991 St. Anne’s
Keenya was my therapist. She was a tremendous help in a very dark time. She always had a positive word and a direction for me to go in. She was tremendously sincere and deeply insightful and left me with many new tools that I’m still using. It hurt terribly to hear she’d been in an accident and I kept up a correspondence with her, trying to cheer her as she’d cheered me.
I’ll carry her smile, her kind-but-firm voice, and her wise thoughts with me forever. She helped me survive. Her light goes on in me. Every time I smile at someone, every time I get to help someone else who’s suffering, her light will be there, shining on. Living on.
Thank you, Keenya, and my love to those others who miss you.
