Funeral Service for the late Locksley “John” Major aged 90 years of Fort Fincastle will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday 22nd June 2024 at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, West Hill Street. Officiating will be Fr. Glen Nixon assisted by other members of the clergy. Interment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery, Tyler Street.

Left to cherish his memories are his only surviving Brother: Joshua Major (Gloria); Stepdaughter: Marie “Dannie” Norvil; Grandsons: Deanza, Carrington and Ashtin Smith and Marvin Major; Granddaughters: Meneko, Micheala, Micah and Mickel Major; Nieces: Melvetis (Polly), Terry, Eliza, RN Gladys Capron (Dwayne), Jennifer (Thomas), Tiffany, Shanelle 1 & 2, Nicola, RN Latoya Major, Mavis (Felix), Portia Curry, Katherine Saunders; Nephews: Nathan Martin, George Jr., Albert (Joedell), retired Lt. Cmdr. Eric Strachan (Anthonique), George, Theodore (Michelle), Stephen, Kevin (Carolee), Dwight (Kamer), Delvin (Judy), Jaycoda, Joseph Jr.; 35 plus Grandnieces & Grandnephews; Friends Including: Ms. Shelia Wilson, Ms. Florence, Ms. Culmer, Mr. Sanders, Danielle, Tasha, Fifi, Mispah Francois, Mr. Cartwright, Adeline, Sheryl Turnquest and family, The Staff of City Lumber Yard, The Public Health Community Staff Nurses & the Community of Fort Fincastle and many more friends & relatives.

May His Soul Rest In Peace!

Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians and Crematorium, #44 Nassau street on Friday 21st June 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday 22nd June 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
