Funeral Service for the late Sir. Winston “Tappy” Davis aged 94 years of Davis Street, Oakes Field will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday 6th January, 2024 at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, West Hill Street. Officiating will be His Grace, The Most Reverend Patrick C. Pinder, S.T.D., C.M.G., K.C. *H.S., Archbishop of Nassau, Concelebrants: Priests of the Archdiocese of Nassau, Fr. Glen Nixon and Fr. Devereaux King. Interment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery, Infant View Road.

Left to cherish his fond memories are his Children: Patrick Davis, Dr. Linda A. Davis, Maria Férère (Dr. Harry Férère), Kathy Davis (Trevor Sands), Philip Davis (Susan Davis) and Monique Cooper (Farion Cooper Sr.); Grandchildren: Kyle and Amiel Ingraham, Dr. Shari Férère (Alexander Smith), Marc Férère, Philip Davis Jr., Winston Davis, Farion Cooper, Jr. and Dante Cooper; Numerous relatives and godchildren: The families of the late Sir Cyrus Ulysses and Hilda Davis, the late Gilbert and Cora Davis, the late Lucius Davis, the late Donald W. and Dolores Davis, the late Ivy Colebrooke, the late Corrine and Ralph Bartlett, the late Edith and Hugh Campbell, the late Harold and Veronica DeGregory, the late Anthony and Melly Dillett, and the late Richard and Althea McCartney; Numerous friends: Sisters of St Martin Monastery, Imperial Life (Colina); Special thanks: Archbishop Patrick Pinder, S.T.D., Rev. Fr. Glenn Nixon, Rev. Fr. Devereaux King, members of St. Francis Xavier’s Cathedral and other members of the Catholic Diocese; Doctors: Agreta Eneas-Carey and Doctors and Healthcare Staff at Doctors Hospital; Caregivers: Sylvia Paige, Carmen Watkins, Shanika Foster and Jenfilia Petit.

Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians & Crematorium, #44a Nassau Street on Friday 5th January, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday 6th January, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
