  1. Mrs. Carmen Gomez and children and grandchildren, May the soul of the beloved and dearly departed rest in peace and rise to glory. I would like to say thank you for sharing Dr. Gomez with the Bahamas. For me this is very personal as: I have this’ gentle giant’ to thank for my public service career; He will live in my heart for ever…………………………. My prayers of comfort are with the Gomez family.

  2. Deepest sympathy is extended to the family of Dr. Perry Gomez from the Evans fanily (Children of Samuel and Mable Evans).
We will always be grateful for the compassionate care that he gave to them.
I also had the good fortune of serving as his Permanent Secretary and he made what was otherwise a daunting experience for me much more bearable because of his personable demeanour.
His work in the area of health has given him global acclaim and legacy will.live on .

Our prayers are with you at this time.

Sincere condolences to Carmen, children and siblings of dear Doctor Perry Gomez. I remember with great fondness the genuine hospitality of Carmen and Perry at their abode in Detroit in the early 1970’s when I visited his sister, my dear friend Anita. Thanking God for his life and contributions to our nation. I watched with great admiration his homegoing service fit for the Doctor of the People that he was. May his soul rest in eternal peace and rise at the coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
