It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wilbert Smith, 82 years old, of Nassau, The Bahamas, who passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026, at PMH.

He was the son of the late Cleveland Wells and the late Edna Burrows-Smith and was raised with the loving guidance of his stepfather, the late Cephas Smith. Husband of Sherry Smith and Father of Sonia Smith-Roker, Dion Smith, and Antoine Smith.

Left to cherish Wilbert memories are his wife: Sherry Smith; children: Sonia Smith-Roker, Dion Smith, Antoine Smith; grandchildren: Jaz Smith, Jade, Jaden, Jada Roker, Diona, Dion Jr., Diontē Smith, Dionce Smith, Diontanae Smith, Diontanique Smith, Chloe Smith; great-grandchildren: Leo Morley Jr., Omarie Johnson; siblings: Katy Cumberbatch-Smith, Valarie Smith; brothers-in-law: Frank Dean, Thomas Dean, Hezekiah Dean, and Bernard Martinborough; sisters-in-law: Naomi Devaney, Gwendolyn Martinborough, Ruth Johnson, Marsha Dean, and Thelma Dean; Nieces and nephews, other close family members, along with a host of relatives, friends, and loved ones.
