A Private Funeral Service for the late Yvonne Mary Carey, aged 72, of Jackson Street, Nassau Village will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9th, 2020 at Good News Seventh Day Adventist Church, Flamingo Gardens. Officiating will be Pastor T. Basil Sturrup. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Due to current Government regulations in respect of Covid-19, attendance is limited.

Many loved ones have gone before Yvonne, her Mother: Doris Stanislaus-Cleare; Father: John Carey; Sister: Brenda Fernarder.

Left to mourn and reminisce on her life are her Four (4) Children: Brad Taylor, Assistant Superintendent Police (RBPF) Carlos (Carol) Mitchell, Natasha Mitchell and Thomasina Hope; Grandchildren: Krystal, Mia & Caedance Mitchell, Bradesha & Cindy Taylor, Stephen Johnson, Yhasmin Deveaux, Sasha, Corey & Jonathan Wallace, One (1) Adopted Grandson: Kevron Bain; Three (3) Sisters: Paula Lundy, Deshan Cleare & Clementine Butler; Three (3) Brothers: Charles (Rose) Whymms, Deacon Danny (Deborah) Price, and Randy Claire; Two (2) Aunts: Agatha Spencer (Edwin), Eleanor (Deacon Samuel) Mitchell; Nieces: Able Woman Marine Ebonie Johnson (RBDF) Davinca Cleare, Lisa Lundy, Danielle ( Norman ), Monique & Carla Whymms; Nephews: Troy (Paulette) Lundy, Ricardo (Shermaine) Bain, Marty Dean, Fabian Fernander, Micheal Jr. & Marcel Major, Shannon Collie, Senior Commander (RBDF) Chapelle Whymms, Carlos & Charles (CJ) Whymms, Devaughn (Tamika), Darren (Allysha), & Donovan Price. Special thanks to Nurses and Doctors at PMH Female Surgical II especially Dr. Tinabu, Dr. Nottage, Dr. Khan and Dr. Davis.  Nurses and Doctors at Doctors Hospital especially Dr. Bonimy and Dr. Smith, Nurses Dorcena Rolle, Nadine Carey, and Bridgette Sherman.

The family recognizes that there are many other persons who Yvonne may have come in contact with who may have impacted her life in some way or the other. Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians & Crematorium, #44 Nassau Street on Thursday October 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Friday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
